I actually wished I had my own hospital gown. Those available from the hospital came in XL and XXL - I kid you not. I felt like I was drowning in it. I'd definitely suggest bringing your own bathrobe, slippers and lots of comfy clothes. I had also used my sleep mask and ear plugs to block out the hospital noises.
I'd also recommend hand lotion and lip balm. The air was very dry in my room. And then hubby can give you lots of foot rubs.
As for music - whatever makes you happy and helps you relax. We listened to a lot of Bob Marley & Manu Chau during the early stages of labor. As it wore on I didn't want any music or tv on.
