Halloween in September

We stopped at Home Depot and the super boutique today, like a good married couple. It's barely past Labor Day, and already there are aisles and aisles of Halloween candy. Despite ourselves, hubby and I enjoyed the super-cheesy candy bowls with the sound effects and scary hands that reach at you when you put your hand in the bowl. People must think we're crazy, laughing like a bunch of teenagers or college students who got a car for the weekend. There was a rapping skeleton, too, that moved its hand like it was scratching a record. Seriously, who comes up with this stuff? Scarier yet, is that my husband would consider buying it for his buddy. Off to the candy aisle... $2 a bag candy to the rescue.
