Pop! Goes my heart

We had our first doctor's appointment and heard the baby's heartbeat! A normal fetal heart rate usually is between 120 and 160 beats per minute, while a mother's heartbeat is under 100 beats per minute so it was easy to distinguish between the two. We were surprised at how fast and strong it sounded, and I think hubby got a little misty-eyed. Only one heartbeat, grandma!
