Naked smiles

Baby's red bottom is looking a lot better today, after loading him up with Bacitracin and Desitin for several changes. I let him rest on the changing table and "aired" him out on a clean diaper while fanning him with a washcloth. Either it felt good or he thought it was super fun, but he LOVED it! He gave me a solid five minutes of cooing and genuine smiles.

By week 5, your baby should be smiling more and more frequently, and you may notice them smiling back at you when you engage them in play or with a smile of your own. Your baby is most likely turning his head to respond to different sounds and can probably now hold his head up for extended periods of time when he is on his stomach.
